I remember us watching it as a family when I was a kid. I think. That's all pretty much a blur.
I do remember all of us watching Billy Jack together on TV and Brother asking Sis KP, "How many times have you seen this movie? And you're still crying?" :D
LOL...My husband will watch any piece of crap that has martial arts in it. We used to watch something called "Kung Fu Theater" on a local channel in Houston years ago every Sunday, which had all those cheesy badly dubbed MA movies made in Hong Kong. That's where I developed my keen sense of mockery.
Hee! What a great thing to do on a Sunday. I remember watching scary movies on Saturdays in the afternoons as a kid - which is how, for a while, I developed arachnophobia (that giant tarantula? YEEPS). I eventually got over it (the arachnophobia, as I realized I'd talked myself into being scared of spiders and there really wasn't anything to be frightened of).
Mom's the best at it. She's downright evil. Brother and I take after her, my two sisters take more after Dad and sometimes look at the other three of us and wonder why we're the way we are....
ahah! well, my family is mostly witty with inside jokes. For example, years ago we were driving through a hilly part of northern IL. As we rounded a corner my dad exclaimed "wow, kids, look at that bear!"
ermm...it was a black cow.
Ever since then we tease him mercilessless any time we spot cows by the side of the road! "Dad, check out that bear! Look, there's a whole herd of them!"
