It's a very well-thought-out book on Neo-Paganism. It was my first scholarly reading into Witchcraft. :D

My copy is pretty battered.

My Dad saw me reading it and asked if I believed in "that crap". I said it made more sense to me than Christianity and he about flipped.

...he calmed down a little while later. Kind of. :D

Heh, I had a similar conversation with my dad when I was about 14. He was watching a Catholic mass one Sunday morning and I asked him if he really believed and of that stuff. He said no, but it made my mum happy. I took that as a cautionary message and to her dying day, Mum never knew I was a polytheistic pagan. It was just easier.

Mom is more easy-going about it. She has a bag of stones I collected for her that she carries around.

It took me a while to understand what Da meant by easier, but eventually I came around to his PoV. There are some battles worth fighting and others, not as much.
