These Dreams, Real Life, and whatever else I can cram in here

Yesterday morning I dreamed I was out with Mom at some sort of big family function. She said she was getting a ride home with one of my cousins and warned me to be sure and come home on time, like I had a curfew or something. I waved her off, and realized I ought to leave immediately if I was going to get home on time.

1) I had a bicycle.
2) I wasn't exactly sure where in town I was.
3) My brain obviously was on a Labyrinth kick, because I wound around a lot of narrow, curvy streets that were actually walkways inside of businesses, and I was chased by a guy riding a giant vacuum cleaner.
4) At one point, I wound up driving a current muscle car as I stopped at a gas station. And that's when things got weird...Atty, my first boss when I moved up here to Indiana (she has her own tag of 'Atty') climbed into my car to ask me where I was working and tell me how much she missed working with me. I said flatly, "I'm making more than you can afford to pay, get out of my car."
5) While still sitting in the car (at the gas station???), I suddenly was transported to Studio AD back in Florida, and the staircase in the foyer had a ghost on it. We were all excited about seeing the ghost - except it was Mom and she shook her finger at me very hard because I was going to be late getting back to her house.

Work continues. I'm not stressed out yet but I could've been today - I couldn't access Outlook nor Office. The IT guys had removed both because I'd been having problems since last Wednesday and then were unable to reinstall them yesterday evening. Oops. So I had a half day of work without my major access info...fortunately, I didn't have too many emails to answer once Outlook was reinstalled.

We're supposed to have a nasty winter storm roll in starting around midnight - so not looking forward to that. I've spent this entire week at Mom's house and wanted to get back to mine - now it looks like Mom will need me here through the weekend. And I'll still have to go by my place and make sure my pipes didn't freeze, heat's still on, etc. And remember to pick up my snow boots, which I've forgotten the three times I've gone over there this week...

working stiff, real life, these dreams
