But how did that happen?
Mom and I took Connor Grey to the shop to get worked on for the running hot problem. Turned out his radiator was cracked. "But how?" I asked, because I'd done everything properly about putting in fluids when the engine was cool, and antifreeze, and all that, but cracked he was, "at the seam, from top to bottom".
So, there was more money shelled out I don't really have. Sigh.
The good news: the neighbor is going to work on the fence and get most of the back fenceline placed today after he gets off work (just the second that's where the gate is to go won't be done, mostly because I don't have the gate yet). Then the neighbor will be leaving to work an oil derrick in the Gulf of Mexico, and he said he'll be gone "at least six weeks". Yeesh. He keeps trying to retire, he says, but the money's good.
