Did the Family Easter thing today
So, I dyed eggs yesterday afternoon, and they came out like this.
I was pretty proud of the striped ones, but I think you can only see one in these pictures.
My grandniece (the eldest) came to hunt eggs.

My grandniece brought her doggy, Lola, who's about a quarter of the size of Rogue and Vinnie (and Vinnie still hates having his picture taken, so none of him).
I made this recipe for Coconut Breakfast Cake, except I substituted applesauce for the crushed pineapple, then added in dried pineapple and dried cranberries. It was very good as a dessert with fresh fruit on top. Then I made these Scalloped Sweet Potatoes. I added a half a teaspoon of curry powder to the spices, garlic powder along with fresh minced garlic, and made two layers of cheddar cheese. I liked it, but no one else in the family did. I am going to chop up some ham I brought home with me and warm it with the taties for lunch tomorrow.
