 All We Need Is Love.....

I can say an AMEN to that.

Nancy's wedding was beautiful. I got emotional, my voice cracked during my speech and I toasted to the most wonderful thing on earth: love.
The happy couple is spending a week in Vegas and I got them tickets to see The Lion King LIVE! I hope they have a wonderful time tonight.

James and I spent the night at the hotel and made a day out of Sunday. It was shopping for groceries, watching RED and loving on each other as well as the pets. Those furrbabies are so freakin' spoiled! They are so pampered and loved <3

This week at work has been crazy, lots of work from every department. Someone always needs something. I am looking forward to my 4 day weekend! After Friday, i don't come back to work until Wednesday and then I'm off for Thanksgiving with another 4 day weekend. 9 days and only 1 work day! WOOT!
This Thanksgiving James and I decided it'll be just us. It's going to be wonderful. I am going to wake up early, watch the parade, start the turkey and prepare for dinner. Just because it's us two doesn't mean I'm going to skimp on food. I'm going to make turkey, homemade mashed potatoes, Buttered corn & peas, biscuits, stuffing and I'm still not sure what to do about dessert. I wanted to make candied Yams but James doesn't eat it. I was thinking of making just enough for me (2 yams worth lol) and then getting some sort of pie, I was thinking chocolate moose from Marie Callendar's - but might just make something, not sure. There will be beer and wine. I got a lot of things organic: Potatoes, celery and carrots, stuffing, corn, gravy and cranberry sauce. I wanted to get an organic turkey, but man, they're in the $25-$30 range for one and since it's just James and I, it's not worth it. I'm going to try and hit the gym during this weekend and Thanksgiving weekend.

I've been so swamped with freelance work (yay for money) and scrap-booking our wedding pictures. The latter is much more fun but the first is going to make me mula LOL

I can't wait for our anniversary trip!
