10 Days & Counting
I have been all over Anaheim these past few days.
I am almost done Christmas shopping! It will be a relief as soon as I get my wedding prints. The only thing missing is one more gift for mom-in-law and putting the 8X10's in the frames I got for her. I hope to ship out their box tomorrow. I am cutting it pretty close to the safe shipping date and I don't want the box to not get there on time or to cost me a fortune to send it.
We received a package from the in-laws yesterday and it contained all of James' ornaments from the day he was born. We also got toys, pez candy and containers and a TON of chocolates. The amount of chocolate in that box was intense. I don't know what I am going to do with that much chocolate, but I know it's going to be mostly given to people I know lol
Walmart (surprise, surprise) is a douche-bag when shipping from site to store. They decided that my wedding pictures should all come in individual packages. Who wastes that much packaging? Walmart does. Idiots. So I received two 8X10's so far out of the 356 pieces I ordered. I did however get my new desk! It's pretty! James put it together yesterday as I kept Mozart busy from bugging daddy. We got all set up and now I just need to pick up my printer that has arrived at the store! XD I am ecstatic about being able to print shit from home now. Horay! I got an HP Deskjet F4440 All-in-One Inkjet Printer that will work for both James and I! I am excited to have it home.
We're also expecting to get Inglorious Bastards in the mail soon. I pre-ordered it in Blu-Ray for $18. WOOT! I will never pay over $20 for ANY movie. I will rather wait to get it on sale. My bulk purchase of 5X7 frames arrives on Friday too. This week is packages galore; I got Leslie's gift in the mail yesterday too!
I am a little peeved with our HR department. Although they are on top of everything and are speeding up the process to get us our paperwork for our taxes, they are being difficult with me about being able to change my name on my forms so I can file married/joint with James this coming tax season. They literally gave me one week to do it. What a bitch. Thankfully our marriage certificates came in the mail this Friday and I can now officially do it. My manager was ok with me leaving early today, so I will be going to the Social Security office later. Along the way I need to hit Walmart, Target and the Coca Cola Store.
James is out buying my Christmas gift for me! XD From the 'fun money' left over, we each got something for the other (aside from our joint present - the PS3). I got him something and I am hoping I didn't screw it up and got the wrong one. I can be retarded like that sometimes.
I'm off to get a box from the warehouse to use to ship to Florida.
