Quick & Easy

James got his tuxedo yesterday and he is going to look amazing. I got him some Italian Leather dress shoes that were on sale for a killer price. The pants are being tailored and creased; the suit has a lifetime FREE pressing. It was indeed a sweet deal.

Apparently my mother thought I was going to pay for everyone's hotel room. She also thought it was ok to start inviting other family members since the chapel I booked seats more people. I had to tell her to stop telling everyone. I don't want a lot of people there. Geebus. She's also upset because she doesn't have a say on what I want and have been planning - the way I see it, I'm paying for it all, it should be to my liking. I would totally understand if they were helping me with the wedding, but they're not, so I don't see a reason for her to, as they say in spanish, metèr su cuchara en la sopa, (stick her spoon in the soup - I know, these things don't ever make sense in English) if she is not contributing at all. I feel bad because my sister included my mom in everything when she first got married, but I know my parents helped her with it. I understand she wants to feel included, but she is hardly ever nice with her words. My mother is brutally honest and doesn't sugar coat anything at all. It's not such a bad thing, it's good, trust me, her words helped me create a shield of armor that can take quite a beating from the cruel evil world - but on this occasion, I need words of love and support. After all, it was harsh words that lead me to demote my Best Friend from being MOH. I just need to talk to her because she isn't understanding that I don't want a lot of people there. It'll be broadcasted online - I will give those people the link so they can see it from the comforts of their California home. I know the lady means well, I just wish she'd respect my wishes of a small wedding.

I bought a soup for lunch today that made my tummy hurt, so now I'm hungry. Thankfully I have a banana, almond butter and some pistachos to hold me over for my workout. Turkey patty in lettuce with a baked sweet potato for dinner. Yum.

Zumba starts next week! XD
