I'm actually going to Poconos! :D A friend of mine and her parents rent a cabin out in the mountains during the summer and she invited me to come join them. I'd just pay for my ticket and buy my foods lol It will probably be around the last weekend in June.

You'll love the Poconos! Very beautiful and well known as a top honeymoon spot. That is so cool that you'd be flying in. Hoping you get a great flight deal!

I cannot wait to go! Maybe you can stop by? I doubt it'd be an issue if you visit me :)
I've never been that far east; farthest I've been is Chicago, so I am really scared about the cost of the flight (its looking to be $450 RT) so I might have to fly into either Philly or Detroit and catch a ride with one of the girls. Its all still crazy planning, but I WILL be in Poconos LOL

The farthest west I've ever been is Ohio I can understand the excitement with traveling to the other coast.
Check Expedia and Hotwire...I used Expedia the last time I flew to Germany and I got a good deal when compared to other offers. If you fly into Philly you're looking at 1.5 hr. drive to the Poconos. There is the Wilkes-Barre airport and that's a lot closer. Check to see if you can fly into there.

Well, I keep telling you that you need to visit Cali LOL :)

I'm hoping rates go down; this morning on the news JetBlue announced flight plans that are $100 each way! Virgin airline is also dropping rates for the summer to try to increase ticket sales, so they predict other airlines will follow! I really hope so. I'm not sure where I'm flying into yet, i might fly into Detroit and do a mini road trip with my friend to Poconos, then fly out of somewhere nearby. I'm way too excited.
