Homemade Secret Santa

I finally finished!

It didn't take me as long as I thought it would and I had a ton of fun doing it! Now its just going to Kinkos, getting it printed, and mailing it out. I'm sending her this in a frame I bought over the weekend and with one of the bracelets I made.

All done with finals; just a paper due tomorrow and then I will be heading to our departments Christmas gathering at my boss' house. I'm semi looking forward to it, but at the same time, I must admit I am too much of a humble person to relax in a setting of people who are snotty and live in a VERY plush environment.

Last night James was feeling a bit under the weather so after taking my final, I went to the Cheesecake Factory and bought him a Godiva® Chocolate Brownie with Fudge. All he said as he stuffed his mouth with it was "This is way rich" but he looked pleased. :)

Waking up this morning was great. Oh gosh it was fantastic. Hugs, kisses, cuddling, his lips at the back of my neck, his hands under my shirt, rain, a blue black shadow from the gloomy morning entering through the blinds and the smell of coconut from my conditioned hair and him breathing it in. It meant I ran late to work, but that's ok, it was completely worth it.

Its freezing right now, its 48º, windy, cold and raining. James is really happy with this weather and I get to go home and prepare BBQ ribs for dinner with mashed potatoes and corn bread. :)

rain, ss linh
