I was invited to a concert at the Roxy with some friends. There were 3 cover bands that covered Depeche Mode, Cure and Oingo Boingo. The Depeche Mode cover band is called Sweetest Perfection. The lead singer looked, sounded and danced like David Gahan. The Cure cover band was amazing. The lead singer sounded just like Robert Smith. The last band was called Dead Man's Party. They had everyone plus a complete horn section. They are considered the best Oingo Boingo cover band in the country. We saw Richard Elfman, Danny's brother who always goes to their L.A. shows. It was really impressive. The fans were diverse. Especially by age. I then went to a club to celebrate a friend of mine's birthday. He is friends with Halim and Kate. Reminder. Kate/Halim call Andy to wish him a happy birthday on Sunday. That was a great party. Many very very attractive azn grrls. All in all a very good nite. I am definitely buying a digital camera though. (And I won't go into pornography any time soon.....I think.) I am going to study Sunday and Monday. So call me guys to catch up or by e-mail. I still miss all of you. and send me your pictures please. please. please. with cherry on top. or tempura cheesecake for some of you.
