(no subject)
Well, today was pretty cool. I got a cool haircut that i really like (my hair is pretty short now), and Ryan and i went to little five points to go check out some cool shops. I got a few new rocks: a piece of amethyst, and a piece of Chinese fluorite. There are some really interesting places in L5P. I mostly liked Junkman's Daughter and Crystal Blue. I talked to the guys at CrystalBlue and told them that i had a lot of Apache tears at home and they said they'd gladly buy the stones off of me because they didn't have any at all. It's kinda hard to find Apache Tears because it's volcanic ash (obsidian) and i've only found it in AZ.
After that i had to go home and clean, and then Ryan and I headed over to the hack-duluth meeting. Twas great fun. I found out that a guy that goes to my school was also a member of ryan's site and it was kinda one of those one-time occurances... Creepy... The guys there were pretty cool. One of them actually started a job at Fry's down the street and he can get up to %500 in savings for family and friends. Not a bad deal since me and ryan shop there all the time.
I also went over to the Books for Less store and got "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy". On the advice of a friend i got the book for $3 and can't wait to read it. I'm one of those people who can't stand it if the movie is coming out and they haven't read the book. Well i'm off to proof read over Ryan's Culinary Entrance Essay. Later!
