A sad state of motivation........
Well I'm back LJ. Its been quite some time no? Typing on this blank page feels somewhat alien considering the last time I posted here marked the end of quite an emotional saga in the life of Adam. Well lets bring everything up to date in a rather hurried and brushed over version.
I turned 22. Yay in an old fart kind of way.
Began seeing a nice American girl. After being inserperable from late February the lady has flown back to the states as of this Sunday. We are still somewhat official. More on how this works later.
I work for the Four Points By Sheraton Geelong, which is a four and a half star hotel along the waterfront that has 109 rooms and serves to prove why people politics are both amusing and idiotically frustrating at the same time.
I have exactly two on campus subjects left, one internship and a IST unit left and then I'M DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More on the IST unit in a minute.
I have spent far too much money on trivial pursuits of late. I nearly lost my degree in june thanks to lack of priortising and am now trying to get back on track.
Currently I have to organise an internship which I'm hoping an old customer can help me out with. He owns an accounting firm. El Toro's was good for something apart from Lozzie.
I didn't sleep last week. Still catching up and I have 5:30 am starts four days this week, back to back. I'm becoming a morning person. Who'd have thought.
I have now stayed in a number of hotel establishments thanks to my lady and her mother. This includes the Hotel Ibis in Melbourne. Fucking laugh if you know the history.
Lorelei (the lady in question) has a cool mother. Within the first two hours of arriving in this country, I took her to a B&D, S&M store on Brunswick St. (Smile girls. You know the one) Her only comment was we have to come back here so I can buy stuff...... Awesome.
Ok the IST unit. It stands for International study tour. Turns out I have an extra elective left, so Adam is off to India on the 28th of November if he gets his paper sorted in time. The best part is, it all goes on HECS. Can you believe it? And rather than return home afterwards, Adam intends to fly on to the states to see his lady. (If I still have one left knowing my luck)
So to sum up Adam is a bloody hermit, sitting around studying and earning money so he can:
1) finish his degree at the end of this year
2) Go to India and play cricket (Bwah?)
3) and go to the states on a working VISA and not come back for a very long time.
