Comes out May 2008. No Sean Connery though, he said no, but who cares.

And yet his son is Shia LaBeouf? How does THAT work!?

I want to see a whole new set of Indy films with Shia. YES.

God, he looks almost exactly the same as he did in Last Crusade. I can't wait for this film to come out :-D

Exciting! Good cast, too. Can't wait.

This reminds me of that blog post I linked you to a few years ago (circa 2001) by the guy who wrote Indiana Jones and the Call of Cthulhu. Remember that? He'd written a script which was purchased by Lucasfilm, but nobody had much hope of it ever being produced. Now that Lucas owns it, it's unlikely that it'll ever see the light of day, and that's too bad; Indy 4 will be one of the most hotly anticipated sequels ever, and I'm sure they passed over a lot of great screenplays in search of the perfect one. Wish we could have a look at some of the great ones.

Do you still have a link to that blog post? I'd love to read any script or story involving our good man Lovecraft.

I'm not yet convinced that what we'll see for the next Indiana Jones adventure will be the perfect story/script. Recall, we waited 20 years for the next Star Wars movie & got The Phantom Menace. That's what terrifies me the most. Especially since Indiana Jones has held such a significant place in my imagination throughout my life. I'd hate to see the last note in the franchise be a sour one.

He does NOT look 65.

He was a little out of shape off and on in the intervening years, but damn if he doesn't look fit now!

You age and your weight changes a bit. For a 65 year old man he is in really good shape, and has all is memory and hair. It's nice to see him in a really good action movie gain. I love the old man.
