...This scar makeup fucking stings. And I can't hardly talk around it.
I dunno, I've said this to a couple of people, but I'm not really comfy playing such a high-profile character. I mean, as fucking Ichigo or some shit, it doesn't matter if you do it well, because there'll be fifteen other people doing the exact same thing, and half the con won't even know what anime you're supposed to be from. But fucking everyone is going to recognize me, or what I'm going for. And as;dflknafgs I didn't even get all the stuff for it - not shoes or socks or knives or a wig or even a little 'DENT' nametag. Nothing but the dress and the makeup. Which stings. Fuck it.
Anyway, I'm still really excited for K-con this year. Even if my costume turns out horribly, I'm going to have a good time.
EDIT: It turns out that mom didn't pick up my dress from the costume guys in time for closing, so I'll be some shinigami or smth for Saturday. Not so bad.
And now I'm gonna wash the stupid makeup off.
EDITS 2 & 3: Miss Kaylee, we got you a welder's mask. It's pretty kickass. And I'm thinking of bringing a second costume for the dance at the end of the night. Whatchu think?
