So. The thread battling yesterday had a lot of people trying to figure out just WHAT Potamos was hitting them with, off-camera. So expounding on that. And how she "fights", far as I know. Stuph |D

As far as Demonkind goes, there have always been tribes. Back in the days before Reine DeVilla - HOW MANY WAYS CAN WE SPELL THAT, ANYWAY? - tribes did not interact. They still thrived on Hatred, though, as Hate and Love are eternal blahblahblah.

We also know that the tribes, aside from seperating via elements and wardrobe styles, are also seperated by power. Pluie was from the Idon'tremember Tribe, the weakest, and so on to the top (RAFAAL) and the second-to-best, YOURS.

And dammit, there was a minute there when I had my hands on the Saint Something Four. I WAS CLOSER.

I dunno, I always took it that before Reine Devilla, the demons were peaceful and didn't bother anybody. And then when she became corrupt and took over, she infused them with her hatred. That they didn't really need it to *live* per se, but to have any real sort of power, and that a certain amount of power is inborn - hence why Jama-P and Potamos can both still fly and random stuff after they get purified.

What the fuck are we debating parts of this canon? THAT'S SO COOL.

DEBATE. She's forced out of the Angel World by love, so we have that to add in. Although once Ignis expels the Love Wave he dies, but that was after having been purified so I WILL NOT COUNT THAT.

Yes, they were peaceful, but it doesn't mean they weren't still hateful or powerful. I really don't know and fortunately, do not have a character who ought to know. THIS IS HOW THE DMEON WORLD IS? MUSTA ALWAYS BEEN LIKE THAT.

INTENSE I always got a sense that the coup changed their state of being from serfdom wanderings to COMPLETE LOATHING FOR ANGEL EXISTENCE and just continued to poison them from there. And gods' knows if Hiromi had any had in that before it really kicked off. And totally afraid to insert any meta speculation that would make my head ahurt.

Not that Nao would care either way, lazy git won't make a followup season. :/
