(no subject)
I should be at home this weekend, hugging my dog, playing board games with my family, and eating delicious mexican food. I am doing none of these things, because my command screwed me. Long story short I couldn't get a flight because by the time my travel itinerary got approved, all the reasonably priced plane tickets were completely gone, and I can't spend $700 to go home for 4 days. I am v. v. upset, because I've been looking forward to this weekend for over a month, and I'm stuck here because of one person's incompetence. >:(
I did find out there's apparently a pretty good zoo nearby, so maybe that will happen this weekend. Beach Day might be nice too. :)
Yesterday we marched down to our compound, and our cadence came from Muppet Treasure Island. Yeah, we're awesome.
In Maryland I'll miss having the Blue Angels as my alarm clock :)
