I realized after making my last update that a bunch of stuff happened after my last serious update I wanted to say but didn't put in, and that none of you would read it if I edited it in.
The biggest news of that period is that I made the Spring Musical. *gasp* *shock* "What?" you say, "I didn't know Carter could act or sing." Well, yeah, truth is, neither did I. I'm Brandon, but the names of the characters aren't really important, 'cause it's sort of like a bunch of little skit-things. Kinda like the musical last year, but different. The good thing is that I don't sing.
Thanksgiving was pretty fun. We went to the lake and spent the day with a fairly small number of family members compared to our usual number. The most entertaining part was sitting in my room with the N64 and watching Jameson's girlfriend play Donkey Kong 64 and being frightened at how much she knew.
Well, I know now that I aced at least one of those three tests. A 102 on the Math test. Now I just gotta wait for the Biology and Latin grades.
More good news: I might be getting a new computer! w00t! I'd been working on Mom and Dad for a while and finally managed to get their approval on a $1200 Dell XPS 400. I wanted an $1800 Alienware, but alas, no luck. What this essentially means is that I'm FINALLY get a gaming-grade PC of my own, something I've needed for a while. Mom says I might be able to get a GeForce 7800 (an uber graphics card) next year.
I've developed a weird habit of shuffling through my Latin dictionary and cobbling together insults. Like "Tua inopia intelligentiae me oblectat." - "Your lack of intelligence amuses me."
The parade was stupid. And really fucking cold. Oh well, no more sousaphones at least.
I downloaded "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" on my iPod tonight. It is totally kickass.
I also downloaded a neato Alienware skin for Windows XP tonight. I think the possibility of getting a good computer is going to my head.
I need to get a new Facebook picture.
