Thursday Reviews: Cobalt Blends & Super Bad

I've been shopping that's why I got reviews! ;D

Cobalt Blends: Chalice Noir
Bordeaux and black currant wine combined with a hint of crushed violet petals in the ancient Celtic tradition. Served over a base of sweet resins and a faint whisper of pure smoky church incense.

I gave up on C. Blends last year because I didn't like any of the samples I got....decided to give it one more shot because the description sounds too beautiful to pass on. Glad I ordered me a bottle!
Wet: Semi sweet, wet, not a dry wine smell. Yet it's not very boozy. It's got that "aged" ruby wine smell. Just a tiny hint of something cherry-ish. I assume this is the black currant coming through. Rest assure, I didnt get that fake/cough drop almond cherry here. It will get dark and smokey(black currant)!
Dried: A very soft incense-powered-ish violet scent is present. So soft that it gives an angelic feel to it. But there's always that "Gothic" under tone lurking around the scent.
Verdict: I dont like to smell this blend toooo close to the skin(the scents get all blurry), but when I waved my hand around an enchanted aroma would rise up. GOD damn, this is so tragically beautiful!!! I think I want a 2nd bottle of this! Did Serena changed her formula?? This is sooooo much better than the samples I got!! (i see the labels are now 100% organic)

Super Bad: Bad Influence
Creamy coconut swirled with ripe black currants. Smell Great All the Way to the Poor House
Wet: Maybe I didnt roll the roll on for a bit but yep, there's that black currants...yet my nose detects something "gingerly"? Not a spicy ginger but something "yeasty" right away. It's not unpleasant...I'm just not used to it.
Dried: Milky-ish coconut comes out. I'm glad this is not that beach coconut smell. The "ginger"-ish scent is gone but so is the black currants!
Verdict: I think this oil will age nicely. Maybe it's a new sealed bottle but if I shake a bit maybe the yeasty blackcurrant will dissipate?! I'm liking it ok. Again, smelling it 2 inches away from the skin it gives off a very fruity-creamy aroma!
