In case it's been missed, here's the update for VM!

The Lion and the Lamb Limited Edition Spring Collection will be live from March 2, 2010 until April Fool's Day 2010. Each perfume is presented in a 5ml amber glass apothecary bottle and priced at $17.50. There are no samples available for this collection.

Banshee- A female spirit in Irish Mythology, usually seen as an omen of death and a messenger from the Otherworld. Their high-pitched screams and wails could be loud enough to shatter glass. Sharp green fig, dry white tea leaf, pale white rose, screeching lavender mint, tart pomegranate, red mandarin peel, and warm black pepper.

Caer Ibormeith- The daughter of Prince Ethal Anbuail. Every alternate Samhain she would change into a swan, in which form she would remain for a year before becoming human again the following Samhain. She eventually married Aengus (a god of love, youth, and poetic inspiration) but first he had to pick her out, in swan form, from a group of one hundred and fifty other swans. White gardenia, magnolia blossom, white rose buds, calla lily, spring lilac, swan feathers, and a hint of fresh pond mud.

Cauld Lad of Hylton- The ghost of a 16th century murdered stable boy who was killed and his body was disposed of in a deep pond or an unused well. The ghost was rumored to haunt Hylton Castle removing hot ashes from the fire and then laying on them or saying that he was "cauld" (cold). The hauntings stopped one evening after a cook left the ghost a warm woolen cloak. Icy spring water, murky vetiver, yellow algae, Irish moss, cold stone, dark musk, and the murky depths of a watery grave.

Fairy Changeling- The offspring of a fairy, troll, or elf that has been secretly left in the place of a human child. A changeling could also be a stock, an enchanted piece of wood, that would soon appear to grow sick and die. Sweet cream, delicate orange petals, white carnation, warm vanilla, spring violet, powder accord and iris-infused blankets wrapped around an ancient piece of cedarwood enchanted with Irish moss, white sandalwood, Hawthorn sprigs, and dusty elderberries.

Lost Woods of Killarney- The last great old-growth oak forest in Ireland. Aromatic oak, mahogany, cedar, and pine, warmed with a touch of rich vanilla and dark honey resins.

Mag Mell- An Irish mythical land achievable through death and/or glory. Believed to be a pleasurable paradise, whose location was an island far to the west of Ireland, or a kingdom beneath the ocean. Golden amber, honeyed orange blossom, the aquamarine depths of the ocean, clusters of aromatic blue sage, aquatic grasses, pink lavender, and litsea blossoms.

Tír na nÓg 2010- The land of eternal youth, beauty, joy and music. Tír na nÓg was considered a place beyond the edges of any map, located on an island far to the west. It could be reached by either an arduous voyage or an invitation from one of its fairy residents. Plump blackberries, wild raspberry, creamed wildflower honey, lemony green tea, black currant, golden amber, pink lychee, sweet orange, jasmine petals, and red tea leaf.

The Lion and the Lamb- Regal dark amber, sweet honeyed tea, soft vanilla musk, and tender coconut.

The Fairy Shoemaker- Rich black leather, black lunar musk, burning coals in a grated hearth, newly polished wood, and a bundle of sweet clover, bergamot, oakmoss, white lilac, black violet, and shamrock root.

The Cauldron of Daghda- A never-ending bowl of thick porridge, rice flower, rolled Scottish oats, wheat berries, creamed clover honey, black raspberries, vanilla bean, patchouli leaf, and peach nectar.

And NEW to the Violette Market General Collection:

MYTHS AND LEGENDS

Niamh- In Irish Mythology, she is one of the Queens of Tir na nÓg. Niamh crossed the Western Sea on a magical horse, Embarr, and asked Fionn mac Cumhail if his son Oisín would come with her to Tír na nÓg. Oisín agreed and went with her to the land of youth and beauty. Golden amber, tart pink apples, black vanilla, creamy tuberose, red guava, spring violet, dark vetiver, sugared plum, blackberry honey, bitter chocolate, lavender incense, red rose mist, shimmering fae dust, and apricot dew.

Oisín- In Irish Mythology, he was regarded as the greatest poet of Ireland. His name means "young deer". In his most famous adventure tale, he is taken to Tir na nÓg by the beautiful Fairy Queen Níamh Chinn Óir and they have a son and a daughter in the land of youth. When Oisín finally returns home (after what he believes has only been three years) he comes to discover that he has been away for 300 years. Golden vanilla musk, soft forest moss, khus, fern accord, spring violet, dark amber, white rose, and the well-worn pages of a book of poetry bound in soft tan leather.

Plor na mBan- In Irish Mythology, Plor na mBan was the beautiful daughter of Oisín and Niamh. Her name means "the flower of the lady". White peach accord, jasmine petals, sugared red raspberries, gardenia, white lilac, heliotrope, forest ferns, white rose buds, lemon blossom, and soft velvet mosses.

Sadbh- In Irish Mythology, she was the deer-mother of Oisín. She was enchanted into the form of a deer after refusing the love of the Druid Feár Doirche. Soft skin musk, blond woods, golden leaves, delicate suede leather, pink carnation, and blackberry blossom.

With such a short window for this update, decant circles may not be an option for those that like to run them. If that's the case, maybe organizing a group order would be the best way to go?
