Ummmmmmmmmmmmm best day ever. Screw that I have court in less than an hour and I need to leave like now...I just got an amazing e-mail.
"I am pleased to inform you that Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) officially announced you as a recipient of JASSO scholarship"
"Monthly scholarship is 80,000 yen up to 12 month during the study period at AGU
JASSO will not provide you with air tickets, but you will receive additional 80,000 yen during the arrival orientation week to cover the cost of your air ticket.
You will be receiving your first month scholarship and the additional reimbursement money in cash (total 160,000 yen) during the orientation week"
FUCK YES. I did not even apply for this scholarship.
I was told a couple weeks ago by Yostukura "Oh, did you hear they put your name in for JASSO because they had an extra spot and needed the name right away?" And again when submitting my final paperwork, the guy in the study abroad office mentioned it and asked it I had heard anything. Because I hadn't done anything for that initial application, I figured they'd just forget me.
Thanking fucking god. This is....amazing. Now I have to go leave for court but I don't care....this is just really freaking awesome.
