Not impressed..
When I found out I settled my superannuation claim, I told my mum.. Anyways, a week later she asked to borrow some $, namely $4,000 to pay out her bills. I've helped out my mum a few times in the past and I'm happy to do it but then I think, she's an adult right? She has always had financial issues and she is always helping out my fuckwit 34 year old brother and this guy that she was dating years ago.
Anyways, we lent her the $4,000 and she said she would start paying back from her next pay. That pay day came and she didn't contact me nor say anything.. I SMS'ed her and asked her what was happening.. She said that she had a few bills and was going to make her first repayment the next fortnight.
So yesterday was the first fortnight and I got her first repayment today. She was supposed to repay us $250 a fortnight but I see that she has only repaid $150. I asked her what was going on and she said she had a "water and sewerage bill" that she had to pay.
I'm so annoyed and will never lend money to anyone again.. :o(
