i've been mulling over going to see Choe and the guys perform. what to wear, in the event that i do end up going. how to get there, since i have NO IDEA how to get there.
Just like that episode with Chris Luis. When I went to watch them play, and i didn't even know how to get to the place.
So yeah. I'm trembling. my knees are so week, i'm scared the hell out of my skin, and i'm spazzing, because this would be the first time in years that i would, in the event that he does end up performing.
yes. i'm here. as expected, i found the place. i am currently wearing a faded, flowery tube top, dark, flared low-rise jeans, with a thin, dark blue jacket that falls a few inches above my knee.
and...i'm alone. they don't know i'm here. i came by myself.
so...here i am now, in a pc shop, a short walking distance...SPAZZING.
hinde. kaya ko toh. GAMBAROU, ORE!
........
I saw Jigoku Shoujo. more or less a repackaged version of VPM. cute, though. Currently obsessed over ichimoku ren, her henchman with the eye. but the closing songs are really nice. The kimono she wears is also cute.
I liked xxxholic MUCH BETTER. It really did have the same feel as VPM. Despite that, i'd probably still watch if they continue the episodes.
But what was surprising was KUJIBIKI UNBALANCE! (hehehehehe) or, GENSHIKEN, rather.
I seriously bought it for the hell of it. I just had no other choice, and nothing else to watch.
Watching Genshiken...was like watching my very own college life. Like Sasahara, it was only in College that I fully embraced my...anime inclination. Like Saki, I was a commoner, only, unlike her, I really did become completely one of them, as opposed to Saki just eventually liking them, but never really becoming as psycho as they were over anime/manga/games, etc.
No, I'm serious. I could relate to Sasahara and Saki....SO MUCH! ehehehe...
I like the characters a lot. But my favorite still has to be...the First Kaichou. TO manipulate/blackmail Saki so completely...OHOHOHOHOHOHO!!!!!!
and the blackmail material he's got..and the way he said it. sugoooooooi.
and yeah. i wish there really was Kujibiki Unbalance. It seemed interesting.
It also gives an insight on what comicbook conventions are at Japan. SUCH A FAR CRY FROM WHAT WE HAVE LOCALLY.
But the way Kohsaka treats Saki...it's both hilarious and...
...OH, THE POOR GIRL!!!
(SAKI: If I cosplay as a Puyo, will that turn you on?/ KOHSAKA: *dotdotdot* It's a Puyo.)
i can't even get into it so much. it's something that needs to be watched.
it's not overly humorous, but it feels...real. the art isn't like the usual anime that usually makes a big production of having super pretty girls and boys.
......
anyway, i gotta bounce. wish me luck.
