earlier today, i snapped at some poor, unsuspecting idiots.
well? how would you react if some idiot thought he heard you say your first name as "X-men" ?
i mean, REALLY. What moron would name their kid that?
this is what happened.

2:00 am. i'm waiting to get a ride to work. two scruffy-looking slackers walk up to me and ask my name.
i have no idea if i'll answer with the truth.
ach. to hell with it. so i answered "Jasmine."
idiot 1: *looking seriously and honestly dumbfounded* X-Men? ang pangalan mo? (that's your name?)
me: JASMINE.
idiot2: Pare, Jasmine, daw. (she says it's 'Jasmine')
so i get on the next jeep. i'm in a hurry. i don't want to be late. these idiots won't stop talking.
idiot1: ate, sama ka sa'min. labas tayo! (miss, why not come with us, and let's go out!)
me: MAY TRABAHO PA'KO. (I STILL HAVE WORK)
idiot2: Sige na, ate. Wag ka na pumasok. Sama ka na lang. (C'mon, skip work. just come with us, instead.)
me: KUNG KAYO, WALA KAYONG GINAGAWANG IMPORTANTE SA BUHAY NYO, AKO, KELANGAN KO MAGTRABAHO!
(if you guys have nothing better to do, unlike YOU, I HAVE TO WORK.)
They quickly got off the jeep after that.

while i DO realize that considering where i live, people like those could turn out to be dangerous, you don't piss off people sorely lacking sleep. I'm a nice person most of the time. I just dislike being...uh...noticed, sometimes.
