Hi, Live Journal! I found time (haha, like I don't have tons) to post... in lieu of studying for my final this evening.
So... my life... what's happening in it? [Insert break in which I read my last post in order to minimize redundance.] Right, so!, on the 19th, I went over to Lauren's for a wee bit, and it was great. She's a wonderful person, and I missed her dearly while she was away. Seriously, she's got a hell of a wit and is brilliant. So, that was great. Then, I did nothing for a while... then I went to the mall to meet up with Priss and her visitting boys. I like Rob; he seemed cool and into her, which is great! I hope they had a good time together. Otakon happened, and I was not involved, and suprisingly, I have yet to hear about it. Come on, guys, get your shit together and let me know how it was!
I visited Matt in Staunton this weekend, which was FANTASTIC! He's great, and I'm sad that I couldn't just stay with him for the rest of the summer. (Alas, I have a final tonight.) I met his grandmother (and various and sundry other family members, but more casually) Friday evening, and she's hella cool. Yay! Saturday, we had a fun little trip to Harrisonburg... hit up The Corner -- YES! Dave wasn't there, obviously, but I still love that place, vehemently. He got new mugs, though, that all match, and I'm not sure how I feel about that. I'm very tempted to bring one of my own in there and demand that he keep it for me, but I can't be sure that would go over well. We shall see. Matt's thinking about getting and appartment in SVA in the fall, and I think that would be really cool. I'd love for that to happen. In other Matt news, a film he worked on at NYFA is being shown at Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films. That's fantastic, and I'm really proud of and happy for him. He showed me the original version of it. <3 We went for a drive Sunday, among other things. Saw plenty of places I hadn't before. It was good, and he's still wonderful.
Today... I'm practically inhaling water. And, I'm dodging studying for my final, probably because I almost fell asleep while studying earlier. I've got to get back to it, though. I'd like to finish my final as quickly as possible, so I can see Lester pitch! That's right! Lester's back!, and he's starting tonight's game! That's thrilling, and incredible, and everything good. Regardless of how it goes, it'll just be good to see him on the mound (for the BoSox) again. :) I guess that's about it.... People should hit me up, especially if you're in the area and feel like entertaining me. ;P
