What to do, what to do...
It's nice and sunny out, maybe I'll go find a spot and paint for an hour or two.
Things will pick back up in class, maybe I should try to get ahead and read.
I haven't been shopping in forever, maybe treating myself wouldn't be so bad.
One more month.
One more month stands between me and glowing relief at the end of the tunnel,
between me and my 20th year.
A year ago seems a lot longer than that.
My birthday last year entailed enjoying whatever time I had left with my then dying mother.
The very institution of birthdays seems to set you up for disappointment.
Andrew's RA responsibilities require him to be elsewhere during what would have been a birthday dinner.
Oh well.
I'm feeling a bit off today.
Je ne suis pas dans mon assiette.
Andrew and I, and two other friends got an on-campus apartment for next fall.
There was quite a rush for not very many suites, so we got really lucky, especially to get one with 4 single rooms.
I'm really excited.
And I have a phone interview Monday afternoon for an internship working at New England Biolabs in Ipswich.
My resume somehow reached a woman who works in the Polymerase Division and she emailed me yesterday about the position.
Obviously doing PCRs all day isn't my end goal, but it would be an amazing opportunity to help get me where I hope to go.
Home in six days.
