Welcome to my journal, 2007.

The end of my 2006 was not so eventful as the beginning, but I prefer it that way.

I'm home now after visiting Andrew in Maine for New Year's.
It was nice in that mellow sort of way.
Jeremy and Christine didn't take my absence well, particularly Jeremy.
He makes it impossible to enjoy anything I do in which he is not involved.
Spending less than 2 days (out of 24) visiting my boyfriend on New Year's is not something I'm willing to take shit for.
Finally I just gave up and ignored him, and called my mom because I knew she'd reassure me.
With that I stayed an extra night and headed home around noon today.

Andrew got me an EZ Pass for Christmas which makes the tolls far less of a hassle.
Except for when there's no sign saying anything helpful and god forbid I stop at the toll booth JUST IN CASE, like I did getting on 95 South.
This grouch of a middle-aged man was standing in the booth with his arms crossed and said "You've got an EZ Pass, what the hell are you trying to pay me for?"
I was momentarily stunned at how rude he was, but quickly snapped out of it.
"To pay for the extraction of whatever's stuck up your ..."
I hit the gas on the word "ass."
You never know when there might be children around.
