home again (briefly)
joe and i drove back from jersey today. we'll head down to his parents tomorrow and will stay until sunday.
to be brief, because i'm tired and a little sick, christmas was good. i'm happy with my gifts, i had fun with my family, and besides browbeating joe and i into staying until this morning (thus joe won't see his sister, b/c she left this evening) my mother was almost reasonable. there were an insane number of people in the house. the food was great. the leftovers will be tasty. molan, i have eggnog :) we shall have to get together soon to enjoy it.
i'm too tired to bother writing much more. have been up since 5am because i'm so congested i couldn't breathe well enough to fall back asleep this morning.
ugh. we still have to unload the rest of the car. maybe i can convince joe to do it...
