I didn't miss Ten. At all. I thought it was a wonderful introductory episode, even if the plot was somewhat thin, I doubt that was the focus of the episode. I liked the balance between the fairy tale aspects and the real world monster aspects.
The food scene was hysterical. I thought the little actress held her ground really well, despite of the fact that a total stranger just crashed into the garden shed, demanded food and then spat everything back out again. It's a good thing I don't like fish sticks much to begin with.
The internet fawning over Jeff is kind off weird. And over the top for a one note character.
I dislike the new credits. Especially the font size of them. Like, they're too closely spaced or something, just don't like them.

Karen Gillan needs to work on her facial expressions, but my, I adore Amy. Kissogram be damned.
