"But she stole Emily's clothes, with the BLOOD on them"

So I watched Mean, Manic, Loss (SVU) tonight, and FTP (aka Jordan Bridges guest stars on CI).

Random thoughts

How is it possible that the defense attorney from Loss went from defending a major pawn in a drug cartel to defending a dumb ass tweener in a matter of weeks. Or is his firm just not that picky? I have to say he was an interesting change from the usual assortment of lawyers though. I looooooooooooved the Barbie and Skipper line.

Oh Alex. That was my main line of thought during Loss. I love how she went from confident to this scared little girl in two seconds flat. I don't have anything to say that hundreds of people have already said before. I thought it was brilliant and it put things in perspective for me.

Mean is like my svu guilty pleasure. It's got a random crime, the perfect lovetohate suspects, abovementioned defense attorney... It's also very quotable:

"Danny is soooooooooo dreamy" (I love the inflection on the so)

"These little groups, they're like the mafia, nobody knows nothin"

"So my client gets off blah blah, in exchange for her testimony against Barbie and Skipper"

I think Manic may be a tad overrated, other then the signature hassling, it was more awesome in execution then in actually telling a story. Also, if she had to go up against Moredock, maybe it shouldn't have been with a watered down version of the Appearances plot.

The CI episode made my head hurt. So he framed some random woman because...? I think I may have to sit through it again to fully understand the why and how. Jordan Bridges was pretty. No, pretty isn't the right adjective. Smokin would be better. And he played guitar and looked kind of shaggy. Who am I kidding, I watched it for him. I have no excuse.

guilt, jordan bridges, criminal intent, ftp, manic, alex cabot
