Hi!
First of all, there's no pressure here; we share at least one fandom, so I assume we have at least some form of shared interest/shipping preferences. My only real hard rule is that I don't like angst or darkfic- nothing personal if you do! I've just had a rough couple of years, and I'm not really in a place at this point where I enjoy reading about people being unhappy. Like I said, that's my only really hard rule; I don't really have any kinks, so if you're writing smut (which I have NO objection to) vanilla is probably your best bet. If you want a really, really involved list of my narrative soft spots, you can read this, but you don't have to; I cover my individual Feels about my requests in this letter. Speaking of . . .
Fandom: The Killing
Okay, so! While I'm ambivalent to this show's creative decisions a lot of the time, I've never stopped loving the Linden/Holder relationship. It's kind of a Mulder/Scully deal, only with no aliens and Scully as the main character and Mulder as the goofy tagalong who just wants to make her smile a lot. One request I would make here is that it not be angsty, at least not by the end- I know this is kind of a tall order with a canon like this, but maybe something like a cutscene with them hanging out on the couch watching movies? "Five Times Linden and Holder Got An Easy Case And One Time They Made Out In Celebration Afterwards?" A thousand words of shameless smut? Something COMPLETELY ridiculous like them going out and getting a puppy? Basically just something fluffy and tropey to give the characters a break from the constant angst.
Fandom: Jesus Christ Superstar (2000)
You might be wondering- well okay you probably aren't because you signed up to write for this fandom- but if you AREN'T familiar with this musical's production history, you might be wondering why I specified the 2000 version in my nomination. The short answer is, it takes interpretive departures from the musical's "canon" as it were (i.e. the OBC or the movie) that I'm interested in reading about. More specifically, this version of the musical is really
really
really queer.
So there's some context for you! When I originally watched this, I interpreted it as being about the modern queer rights movement as interpreted through the musical, so you can get political with it if you want; but even if you don't want to and just want to write (relatively) uncomplicated Jesus/Judas, that's totally okay too! Really that's my only real request: Jesus/Judas set in this production's 'verse. How did they get here? What do they believe? When did their ideas start to diverge? It can be a fluffy pre-canon oneshot, a post-canon meetup in Heaven, or a "what they were thinking" scene set during the show; I'm not picky. I just find this relationship fascinating, and I'd love to read more about it.
Fandom: Hexslingers Series
Fun fact: if I had had the slots, I would have nominated basically EVERY character from this series, but alas, there were only four, so I had to be selective. My first two picks were Yiska and Songbird, who I love with a love that is more than love. GOD DAMN THEY'RE CUTE. There's a massive Mayan apocalypse going on and meanwhile there's this tiny little queer lady romcom happening in the background. (Yancey quietly scribbles "omg otp" on the nearest handy rock.) So yeah, anything with these two- quiet scenes between them while Tree of Bones was going on, post-canon fics about their lives together in Hex City- anything like that.
My second choice was Chess and Rook because come on, how could I NOT? Pre-canon fic about their maurading through the West; post-canon fic about them meeting up (because the devil always lies); basically their weird twisted manipulative world-destroying romance and how it tore them both into pieces and rebuilt them all at once.
(Also on the table- though obviously not mandatory, since the characters arne't nominated- Chess/Ed/Yancey. His priest and priestess. COME ON.)

Oh, terrible '90s horror movies. What would my fannish life be without you? (A lot more respectable, probably.) But yeah, basically anything post-canon about Frankie and Andrew's lives together. Where do they go? What do they do? How much bed-breaking sex do they have? INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW. Also, here's my tumblr tag for the movie, so you can get a sense of my- er- priorities.
