Yay!!
I just got out of my speech class about an hour ago, and... drum roll, please...
I got a 95 on my stem cell speech!! *happy dance*
We have one more persuasive speech in that class, one where we encourage the audience to take action, and that's it. A couple of tests, and our final, and we're done. I can't believe this semester is almost over already!
I think I'm going to talk to my advisor about re-taking the Compass test, to see if I can opt out of the math class I'm scheduled for this summer. When I took the test the first time, I scored really low - math has always been my worst subject, and I didn't study for the test at all. The algebra class I'm taking this semester just serves as a kind of refresher course.. it doesn't count for any credits at all, and I've had no problems with it. If I could opt out of the math class this summer (which, again, counts for no credits), then I could take a different class this summer that counts towards my GPA.
I'm going to the movies tonight with a friend to see Slither. Looking forward to it because I haven't seen this friend in a while, and it will be good to play catch up and see what's going on in his life. I'm off tomorrow, and I'm getting my hair cut and colored at 1. I'm going back to blond :) I'm not getting a drastic cut or anything - I'd just like to get it shaped and layered a little. Then Tracy and I are going to hang out. She just got a new digital camera, so we're going to take advantage of this gorgeous weather and do some exploring. I've already got a couple of places in mind that I want to take her :)
On that note, it's time for me to hop off here and start getting ready. Later!
