the past is such a precarious thing. old letters that were once of great importance, slowly but surely always lose value. word are just as precarious. meaning, intent, purpose, everything open to interpretation. everything pliable. in the end nothing is really concrete at all

one of the tenants of marxist communism is equality of the work force. doctors get paid the same as janitors who get paid the same as plumbers and so on and so forth. there is a inherent problem with this. people are competitive by nature, so its against human nature to have a society where no amount of hard work or excelence will get you anywhere. years of training to become a doctor are worthless because you could learn how to clean toilets in a day.
how is death concrete. i mean i think that is one of least concrete things, because not one single person knows for certain what happens after death. its one of lifes great mysteries that i doubt will ever be solved.

You are using a computer, a product of the "hopeless past" to type this. But I apologize, you neatly sidestepped this line of reasoning by mentioning the amazing resourcefulness of the human spirit which can explain any advancement in history and for that matter history itself. Well done.
Again, well done, you are correct is saying that a man does not have to have great accomplishments to be "extremely intelligent" but if a man is "extremely intelligent" and doesn't do anything with it he is fairly worthless wouldn't you say? Besides I didn't say great accomplishments but I suppose to you those are the only ones that matter.
So, you TYPED that (I'm inferring here) the only reason to do anything is to prove that you are better then the next guy and have a very visible symbol (money) to prove it. That, and your argument here is ridiculous. Communism will not work because the majority of the human race is content with doing as little to possible to get by. If you tell a man he can attain the same socioeconomic status by working as a plumber as a doctor he will be a plumber because it is less work. If a man can get away with getting the same amount of money for not working as working he will not work, if you don't believe me on this check out the history of the american welfare system. For a more personal example of this phenomenon TYPE TO me, did you go to college? Did you go to a college that would challenge you or one that you would have an easy time at? How are you doing at your college?
So death isn't concrete because no one knows what happens after. So your TYPING that a point that cannot be proved wrong, ever in your opinion, is not solid? I would say that that makes it incredibly concrete as a boundary (because you seem to want to believe that death is just another life). If I were to cut off someones head I don't think anyone could argue that they aren't dead. But you ignored what I was saying to try to argue against death. If nothing is concrete did the atomic bomb drop on Hiroshima?
The name is John not Johh by the way. I was simply trying to keep from being an anonymous bastard. I eagerly await your response.
