This weeks adventures included:
-Happening upon the secret White Stripes show, just as I planned.
-Meeting their roadies after the show, who were really nice and put me on the guest list for White Stripes, with two free tickets, to "support a young actor of P.E.I."
I took Laura and we had an amazing night. It was such a good concert.
-Jill Barber at Trailside Cafe in Mount Stewart. She is one of my favourite singer songwriters and such a good performer if you get to see her in an intimate venue. I requested The Best View and she played it but forgot the second verse. I had to help her out, it was pretty funny.
-Finally seeing Kyle at Jillian's house, even if it was only for 20 minutes, since he conked out on my shoulder after that. It's so good to have him back!
Work is still good...yesterday I watched a bunch of short films to "research" my animated shorts night happening at the end of August. (You should come!)
I also made a pom pom bird to "research" the activities we can do for Family Sunday at the Gallery this week.
And then there was Thursday happy hour, which is always a good way to end the day. seriously, best job ever.
