1. I'll try. The body background image
is at the top 0

body background image

the header lays on top of
body background image just
above the bg image white bar
___________________________

the bb image has at the bottom a "bump out" the white line at the bottom of image. the header only has the grass image, I did that because I didn't want to mess with the white border everytime I wanted to change the main image. On IJ it didn't matter but when checking it on LJ I forgot the nav menu and what happens is

covering the bg image

I think I just confused us both. :)

2. I don't see anything in the custom text box?

2) You don't? in which browser? Oh, wait the images are gone... let me change them...(could take a while I have to go to work now. I'll let you know when I'm done)

2. Thanks it is working, I just needed to exchange out the " with '. I tried finding css made stuff for the LJ sidebar but the good stuff is javascript, do you know of anything else I could use or to convert from script into usefullness for LJ.

1) ah - ok. I didn't see that before in the other layout. Don't ask me why...
I don't think you can change that. Why don't you add the black border to the image you are using as the header? You'd have only one image then
