"Not everyone is great. That's the problem. Some of us are just... ordinary."

So, the job hunt has been exceedingly unsuccessful. It's very upsetting when places don't even give out applications. Alasss. There are a few more places to try before I lie down and die of poor-...dom. I really will work that night shift at CVS. I WILL. I'LL DO IT. Just pay me plz. That is all I need.

Furthermore, the idea of being stuck in the house for copious amounts of time is not at all appealing.
  • In random news, my brother got his license and ran over Mrs. Hochheisers potted plants. I am moderately mortified. He's a menace and a cocky dummy behind the wheel. Bad combo.
  • Your Sister's Keeper: I keep seeing trailers and of course know the story from those times when EVERYONE was reading it... the concept of it is HORRIFYING. Worst parents ever much? I'm sorry, I know it's meant to be ~*touching*~ but everything about it rubs me the wrong way.
  • I worry that movies are a dying art. So much crap is being put up and even if it's not crap, it's a reboot/sequel/some rendition of a story that's already been done before. Is there no more originality? Like, srsly, G.I. Joe: The Movie?! Why? I mean, I liked UP, it was very cute, but it wasn't a great movie. I need to be reassured, haha. Give me a gem in the midst of all the summer blockbuster bullshit. Then again, I did love Star Trek... not as much as The Dark Knight, but it is pretty awesome.
  • I'm watching Night at the Museum and enjoying it thoroughly. See! I'm not asking for cinematic masterpieces, just good entertainment.
  • ... Land of the Lost trailers do not help with my film-industry related worries... Will Ferrel, you are BETTER THAN THIS!
  • I might start watching Heroes for Sylar (stfu, Kate, I think he's goooorgeous.):

His arms. His back. His EVERYTHING. Unf unf unf.
