I Live In A Snowglobe Full Of Rain
I woke up late at 12:45. I had Hall Ambassadors at 1:00 where I have to show tours of Kellum Hall to students who are previewing Florida State University. I showed tours to 3 or 4 families. It was nothing special and I had ridiculous debates with the stoner who I used to watch LOST with for awhile.
After my two hour shift, I went back to my room and ate cold chinese food as I worked on two extra credit Microeconomics papers. Afterwards, I wanted to take a nap but ended up going through my campus and personal email accounts deleting a multitude of emails and going through my normal rounds on the internet. I talked to Rose and to be honest.
I miss my old friends. I miss the days of sitting in cars eating bagels, donuts, ice cream, taco bell or whatever by the river and just talk stream of consciously for hours on end.
Afterwards, I ate a bowl of leftover m&ms and called my mom back. It was a basic conversation of what I did with my day. Not alot has happened because I haven't felt like going out in the rain. Plus I woke up to a text from FSU alert system saying it was best to not go out. So I made today an indoor boring lazy day.
I took a nap. When I woke up, I started to read for fun. I finished a book called "Before Women Had Wings" by Connie May Fowler. I read it because I joined a leadership book club on campus and got the book for free. However, I was never able to make it to discussion because it interferred with my latin review sessions in the evenings. The book was pretty good. I would give it 4 out of 5 stars. It was a basic book about an abuse girl, but had an elegance to it.
I talked to my twin Hilary Fisher. It is scary how we formed an entire friendship based on the fact we look alike. I hope to have lunch with her this summer sometime. I miss seeing and talking to her in band, although she is quitting after this year. :(
I have been listening to music alot. I think everyone should listen to the song Reverie by The Morning Of. It will make your day if you have taste even close to mine. I also think I am going to start writing in my real journal. I have been saying that alot but now I really want too.
Ok I think I am going to go to eat some more leftover chinese, tidy up my room, take a shower, and maybe do some latin homework. This has been the most boring day in awhile, but maybe I need boring. It sure is comfortable.
