New Job
I finally got a new job, as a Pet Nurse!!!
It's going good so far, I've learned so much- what different diseases are, when and what different vaccines are for, how to set up vaccines into the sringe, how to draw blood/fecal/urine and run tests on all of them, run heartworm tests, how to start the exam when clients come in(taking temp, pulse and resp, and checking ears for debris, and teeth for dental calculus)doing all the paper work for each animal when they come in, which is hard because you have to do it in a certain way with all the medical terms. blah blah, there is wayy more than that too.
But the only bad thing is, I was supposed to a field trainer come in on monday, which turned into tuesday then yesterday turned into today(my off day too)so I wake up early today and then just as I am leaving I got a call noo she has another bullshit excuse, she's not coming in. Soo who knows when I'll be fully trained.
Also yesterday was like record breaking busy for them, and only one Doctor too!(normally is is two) and our board was full by 8:00am, we saw like 20something patients and clients. I also got bit by a cat, who was just not having being looked at for as long as he was. Oh well. It was more blood than anything, no big deal.
BUUTT, the whole sucky thing about this is that I still have my other job.. GRR they wouldn't accept me quiting so now I work there tuesday&wednesday 6:00pm-11pm, and sundays 6:00am-3:00pm. oh so much fun. In a way its good, because I can see if this new job is going to work out, and if for some funny reason it doesn't than I won't be out of a job. If this job does work out then, I will be quiting for sure right after christmas. And they will just have to deal. I kinda need the extra money for christmas too. soo yeh.
Ok welll I'm going to go back to sleep, well try, my fucking neighbor is bumping annoying mexican gangster rap from his car. I hate him. I should sic Miles after his gangster wishing ass.
