I'm back! *^^* OhmahGAWD Japan was so awesome. Seriously. I want to live in Osaka~. I'm now an okonomiyaki and takoyaki addict-- Dad just ordered a takoyaki pan from Amazon.com, because he's addicted, too.
As someone who originally came from a small town, I think part of the reason I loved Osaka so much is because we were right in the middle of everything. We stayed right near the train station, so I could basically walk or take the train to wherever I needed to go. You don't have to rely on a car, and having all those people around really makes you feel like you're a part of something, you know? I don't know; maybe it's just me who feels that way.
Anyway, we came back with plenty of cheap-yet-adorable plastic crap. :) I also bought some manga, two artbooks(Spirited Away and Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne!! :3), and a Totoro pillow for my dorm. ^^ My roommate's gonna think I'm psycho, but oh well.
Anyway, I caught up on all my blog-reading, so it sounds like you guys are all doing pretty well. I'm glad to hear that college isn't too bad. :) I hope I fit in just as well in Santa Cruz, but I feel pretty confident that I will.
