That's right, boys and girls, October is among us. Among Halloween costumes and candy at stores, and God forbid Christmas sundries already popping up at Costco and the mall, October is my month. That is, of course, if the Sox make it to the playoffs.
Tied for wins and losses with them damn Jankees, the Red Sox finish second place in the AL East and secure a wild card birth on Cleveland's choke. Had me really worried there the past week when the Yankees passed my beloved Sox for first place and had to wait until Sunday to see who's going to the big show.
Do you feel it? Eleven more wins? Sweet Caroline and Dirty Water at Fenway?
