Aussie Sideshows Announced!

After recently confirming their appearance at the SOUNDWAVE Festival, PLACEBO are delighted to announce they are to play 2 further shows during their visit to Australia.
The band are to play :
Monday 22nd February - The Festival Hall, Melbourne (Tickets go on sale on Thursday 19th November : www.ticketmaster.com.au)
Wednesday 24th February - Enmore Theatre [All Ages], Sydney
(Tickets go on sale on Thursday 19th November : www.ticketek.com.au)

I'm really confused by those dates and kinda worried for the guys as it means they'll have to do:
Syd Soundwave
fly to Melbourne
Melbourne gig
fly to Sydney
Sydney gig
fly to Melbourne
Melbourne Soundwave....
It's confusifying, my only thoughts are they've done that so they have time to potentailly add a second Sydney show like they did last time.
OR they had to fly arse about because all the other Soundwave bands are doing their gigs locally and bo drew the short straw
