Jon came to visit me!
So excited still about that, kinda surprising actually because he only had like 8 days of leave and spent two of them here visiting his cousin and I. I learned so much more about the marines and military in general than I ever thought I would being so anti-military. I guess im not so much anymore. I'm glad hes doing what he is, he's the kinda person that would protect anyone so im glad hes fighting for our country. He'll be back again in the summer so maybe I'll see him again before he gets sent overseas. I guess being sent to afghanistan is worse than going to iraq, this i never knew he made it make sense for me lol so thats all that matters.
So him being super into working out marine style wanted me to go run with him. Goodness, that was insane. Now I remember why I go running alone lol. It was fun tho and a fun visit. I'm so proud of him and so lucky to have a such good person as my friend.
I told him there is no way im going to his funeral anytime soon so please don't get shot and stay alive. Sad that I said that jokingly because its true. I'm sad I would ever have to tell one of my friends that, stupid war in iraq. I hate it more than anything, maybe even as much as I dislike the president, not sure but its close.
