I have a question. What exactly does "free" mean in this case? Do I pick my own topic (like a TV series, an episode, a town, a person, whatever) or can I make a random mixture of icons of everything I can possibly think of?

Both actually, free means that u decide. If u want to do a random mix of icons, please do, if u want to stick to one topic, please do :) Tho it's usually a random mix rather than one topic but again, entirely up to u!
