A Night on the Water
Last Friday we spent the evening on my friends boat.
Here they are putting the boat in the water!
It rained right before we put in the water so we got to see a pretty rainbow that went all the way across the sky!! Wow! It looks like a double rainbow! I didn't notice that until I put it on here!! Ha!
It was my friend Ellie's birthday! Donnie 'baked' her a fake cake! This is what happened when she tried to cut it!
There were lots of birds on the river.
These are the nice Wildlife & Fisheries guys that pulled us over and searched the boat to make sure we had enough life jackets, a fire extinguisher, registration etc. They were friendly though and we had everything we needed so it was all good!
After they left we headed to Bennigan's for a little bit! We saw another rainbow on the way there!
After we left Bennigan's we headed to the seawall and met up with like 10 other boats there. They were cooking out and partyin' and stuff. We knew most of them because they are all in the Buccaneers with us! This is a picture of the Isle from where we were on the sea wall.
Later that night we went by La Berge. They were supposed to have their boat dock open but when we tried to dock the security guard freaked out and called for back up. It was funny because he was so excited that we were out there! We never actually touched thier dock so they couldn't do anything to us so...we lingered out there in the water and stared at the security people and they stared at us while making hand gestures to move away!! Then we hollered back and forth with them a bit before we left! He was really rude about it too. I mean we weren't doing anything and they don't own the water so they really couldn't tell us to go so we hung around longer than necessary just to aggravate them!! Haha!
We didn't take the boat out of the water til like 12:30 in the morning! It didn't even seem that late! We had a good time...it was so relaxing and pretty out there. We're making plans to do it again soon!!
