Too Much Trouble around here for me
More of my kids finding themselves in hot water this week. It makes me crazy. I just wish that they could all get their shit together and stay out of trouble. It's making me old before my time.
Sam's stupid ass got busted again...that's it for me...I tried and he really did appreciate the support...but not enough to stay out of trouble. I think he just needs more help than I have the knowledge to give him... I just hope he gets the help he needs. I heard a rumor that they may drop the charges. I don't know how they can do that with his record but I just wish someone would really LOOK at it all and try to get him the help he needs and quit letting him out to do the same things again...but who am I?
I was already worried about Meagan and the letter that I got (and apparently her mom got also.) Then I hear from Donovan that he got in trouble too and got kicked out of schoool. I don't know what this means for him. I hope he doesn't have to go back to court which could be really bad. I don't know yet why he's home but whatever it was, I'm sure that just getting kicked out violates his probation. I just hope it wasn't anything illegal and it was just a rules violation of some kind that got him kicked out. Then maybe it won't be as bad with the whole probation thing. And to make matters worse, he got kicked out on Mother's Day. I'm sure his 'darling' mother won't ever let him forget that. Say a prayer for him...he'll need it.
As far as the Meagan thing goes, I don't know what to think. I've searched my brain trying to figure out who could have sent the letter and I just don't know. It could be anyone really. She seems to think it was someone who is out to get her in trouble and it could be, but like I told Tay, why would they send it to me then? I can't punish her or get her in trouble or whatever. That's what makes me think it is someone who is actually concerned for her...they just went about it the wrong way. And anyone could know most of that stuff...it wasn't all that detailed. Everyone at school knows when someone is in trouble. There are no secrets at Sam Houston...and it only takes one person to leak info for it to be all over in no time so...anyone could really know most of that stuff and decide to use it however they saw fit. Her mom is threatening to move them all to Carencro and get her away from the people she's hanging out with. Who knows if she'll follow through with it or not. Her Dad is just all mad at her mom because she reacted so strongly (but anyone who knows her mom would know that's how she'd react).
I don't know, but you would think that with all the crap that their friends have been in, that it would deter people from following down that same path. There needs to be some leadership out there and it needs to be heading in the right direction...At least Tay is staying out of all this mess...and Dino and Billy are staying out of trouble too.
Haha! Derik is building a chicken house!!! For some reason that just cracks me up!! He said Tay wants to paint it. I can't imagine what color she will pick!! This should be interesting!! I'm just glad that she is so happy. I haven't seen her this way in a VERY long time and I know it's because of Derik. He's a good guy...I'm glad that she found him. He's just what she needed.
Yesterday was pretty crappy for Mother's Day. But I did get the movies I wanted!!! So...anyone who wants to come over tonight and watch movies...come on! I'll make the popcorn!! Haha!! They're funny movies so we can get happy and escape all the drama for a while.
