2004 Got Milk? Shake Stuff Up Tour
Wrong Direction has officially been invited to play at the 2004 Got Milk? Shake Stuff Up Battle Of The Bands.
When - Saturday July 17, 2004
Where - The Sparks Marina Park (300 Howard Dr, Peninsula Pavilion)
Price - FREE
Time - 4PM - 8PM
Who - Wrong Direction and some more local bands competing.
"The got milk? Shake Stuff Up Tour is coming to Reno soon and we are trying to enlist some groups for our Battle of the Bands. The competition will take place on July 17 at Sparks Marina Park and is a great opportunity for local, undiscovered bands to get noticed and win some money.
Here are a few details about the competition. We will select two bands who will both have the chance to play a short set. There are kiosks set up at the competition, and the crowd will choose the winner! Make sure to bring some friends and family to stuff that ballot box.
Now to the good stuff, the prize for winning the competition is $200, and more importantly the winner will be entered into a pool. When the tour is wrapped up in December one winner will be chosen from that pool and awarded the Grand Prize. The winning band's song will be posted on Rollingstone.com, in addition to paid studio time.
This is truly a unique opportunity for local, undiscovered bands. You have the chance to play live and get your name out there. Please feel free to contact me if you are interested in the competition or have any questions."
