[Recent events have left April feeling restless (and there are some that have left her feeling embarrassed, buuut, we never speak of those. Ever.), so she's gonna practice something with her powers that she's been wanting to try for a while; electromagnetism. After practicing on a few things inside the house, she decides to take her training ( Read more... )

[In the kitchen cutting up some veggies when someone literally drops off from the roof and falls into the yard. That she had the curtains up gave her front row seats from the window.

...Rushing out now.]

Goodness. Are you alright, miss?

[Ugh, gonna be feeling this for a week. S-she's just gonna lie here for a sec...

...Okay, now she's pushing herself up onto her elbows.] Ah, y-yeah, I'm fine.

[She quickly makes her way over to half-kneel beside the other woman, noting her leg brace as she does so.]

Are you sure? If you're bruised yourself anywhere or worse, I may be able to do something about it. [She can ask about the roof-jumping later, after she makes sure that the other woman is okay.]

[April soon pushes herself into a sitting position, wincing as she does so. Yeah, most likely bruised. She still manages to give a slight reassuring smile to Ciel.] Y-yeah, I'm fine. Just, ah, a few bruises, that's all.

Please take your time, miss. Where does it hurt? If they're just small bruises, then I might be able to heal those right away. [Concerned, Ciel will still be crouched besides her, and showing no signs of willing to relent.]

[April looks like she's unwilling to say where it hurts for a moment before she speaks, although she sounds a bit uncertain.] Ummm, m-mainly my back, a-a-although I think the bruises might be too big to heal... [Since this is the 4th time she's fallen from a roof o-orz]

[She's had to patch up cut limbs and a shonen hero who got half-eaten in ways too convoluted to explain. 8|;; For modern fantasy, Bruises are small time.]

It should be okay. Here, then? [She outstretches her palms and gingerly places them on April's back. Bruises are still simpler to heal than severe cuts, so this won't take long. She'll feel a faint cool sensation on her back, before the sore pain begins to gradually dissipate like vapor, provided that these are just ordinary ones gained from falling and such.

The whole process doesn't take longer than a few seconds, and once done, she pulls away.]

There. Is that better?

[April will instinctively tense slightly when the hands are placed on her back, although she relaxes when the pain in her back begins to vanish. Once she's done, April will shift slightly, before nodding at Ciel.] Ah, y-yes...umm, thank you.

You're welcome. [Tensing is only natural; most people would tend to do that if it was unexpected, and even when it is.] Can you stand and walk, now? We could move to the back porch and sit down there, if you still need to rest a little. [Saying that, she gestures towards the two chairs set up on the patio, next to the back door.]

Ah, it's okay, I think I'm alright n-[The sentence is cut of as she gets onto her feet and wobbles slightly. She then proceeds to look rather sheepish.] Umm, m-maybe I should rest for a little bit...

[She gives a faint and sympathetic smile.] That would be good. Would you need support to get over there? I just boiled water not too long ago too, so I could take some tea out after, if you'd like. [Offering her shoulder; she's quite used to doing things like these, so that should be good help.]
