[After all the crap Mayfield pulled, April was hoping for something good to come in the package. But when she opened it and she saw this little face peering right back at her, she just sighed before the poor birdie started to freak out. So, after crafting a make-shift handling glove, spending a while calming down the owl and introducing it to all the other pets April now owns, they head to the park sometime in the evening to get the bird more accustomed to the town, so you'll see April and the prissy owl:
1.) Sitting on a park bench, the owl glancing around curiously from it's perch on April's arm, looking all nice and calm... Until a drone walks too close by, and the owl, er, bristles to the point that it's feathers actually becomes spikes (huzzah for mutant owls...). April looks rather unamused at this, before wincing slightly at the talons digging into her arm, since the glove isn't that good, and proceeds to try and calm it down again.

2.) The owl has now successfully calmed down, and is now snuggled into it's owners shoulder and is watching everybody walking by, even to the point of doing the 180 head-turn if it hears something behind them. April, meanwhile, has got a link of chain which is floating and twisting around her free hand thanks to electromagnetism. So while April is not really paying attention to her surroundings, the owl is, and is giving everybody nearby the owl equivalent of the side-eye. The owl is watching you...]
