went to parra today to catch up with Tash. people weren't talkative and wouldn't care to admit they were tired coz they watched bollywood films for 6 hours straight. hehe. to my surprise, Jess crashed over Tash's and joined us for the day. they both taunted me with their msg (mono sodium glutomate) ridden chinese food: "c'mon. you know you wanna eat it. bwahahahahahahahahahahahaha."
ehehe. fuck yous! jks. anyway, after lunch we headed off to show Kristy where phantom zone was. after much browsing, analysis, and this activity i like to call "breathing air", we left and made our way to the town square. dunno if you'd call it that, but it sounded cool, so whatever. there was this guy singing and playing guitar. pretty awesome. his grasp of rhythm made me pretty happy, especially when he used this looping pedal to record percussive sounds on the guitar. it was good to hear a couple songs, jams and works in progress have time signatures other than 4. not necessary, but an added bonus for people like me who like that type of thing.
our adventure ended with a drink at some bar. conversation went for about 2 hours. after that, i'm pretty sure nobody could be fucked. haha. none of us had sleep, and that was pointed out. i was pleased to have some fruitful speculation on the naruto manga series on the way home. fruitful, because it seemed plausible and i don't think i would've thought of it on my own. storytellers really have a spark that people take for granted.
anyway, there's no jammage as we planned, but i thought of alot of ideas. expect us to be ripping it up at a big day out sometime soon. i fucking wish. haha.
