good birthday... goodbye
So I turned 24 on friday. It was a really good birthday! I went to dinner with my family and some friends and Adam's family. We had chinese and I got my hair cut before hand and wore a hello kitty crown Mimi and Tiff got me! We went back to Adam's parents' house and had cake and I got awesome presents. It was very nice.
On a sadder note I have been very very stressed out lately. I'm student teaching, taking 5 classes, working 13 hours a week for the library and just got promoted at the koreans to be their sunday school coordinator. Well after a few melt downs I've realized I just can't do it all anymore. After a long talk with my mom about taking a while longer to pay back my debt to my folks, I have decided to quit working for the Koreans. I have been with them in some capacity for 8 years now, with the exception of the six months I was in London. They have treated me very well and in return I have been there for more sundays I could count, easters, mother's and father's days, and for holiday's like thanksgiving and even christmas. I have watched some of those kids grow from tots to teens and it will break my heart to say goodbye, but the time has come. I can't handle all of it anymore and being in charge of other teachers now and all the planning is just too much. I'm gonna give a month's notice tomorrow and probably go home and cry my eyes out. wish me luck.
